November 10, 2006Presentation of Quartz Blog
November 9, 2006I really like the presentation of one of the Quartz Composer blogs that I have found. I think I would like for my web site to have the same sort of presentation with the black background and the white text, because I think its quite simple but effective.

DJ Magazines
November 9, 2006I have noticed in a few DJ magazines lately that they are including articles about VJing including software’s you can use and artists in the field. It seems that VJing is becoming more and more popular, however at the moment I don’t feel there are resources to support it.

Idea Development
November 9, 2006I have spoken to Ian about my final idea for a project for this module and he has told me that it is possible to do, which I am pleased about. I have decided to go along with the VJ website web site resource and to also use Quartz as a VJing tool taking videos from my site because I wanted to produce a work with an offline presence as well as an online presence.
Other Students Blogs
November 8, 2006I had a quick look at most of the other students blogs again the other day just to see how everyone is getting on with their blogs and work. It is quite good to see what other people have researched and what their ideas are for the project. Every ones ideas all seem very different, which I think is good thing because every one is interested in different things which also opens the rest of us up to knew ideas. Just by looking at Rob’s and Rebecca’s ideas you can see the wide range of ideas and work going on.

Audioscrobbler
November 8, 2006Audioscrobbler is a website that works with Creative Commons. It provides you with a download that then logs and keeps track of the music and songs you listen to and then puts these into a chart within your area on the site where you have a user name. Within your area you will have charts of the most recently played songs and most played songs, and it also lets you have a journal and a list of friends.
